Standing Tara—also known as Tribhanga Tara or Standing Bodhisattva Tara—represents Tara in an upright posture, distinct from her more common seated forms. This elegant posture carries rich artistic and symbolic meanings.

  • Right hand is often in Varada mudra (gesture of generosity/blessing), extended toward the world.

  • Left hand may hold a lotus (Padmapani) or be shown in vitarka mudra (teaching) to encourage spiritual growth
